Refund Policy
Effective June 5, 2026
We charge for two things on Motor Vehicles AI: monthly subscriptions (Seller Pro and Dealer) and one-time listing boosts. This page explains when refunds are available, how to request one, and how long they take. Questions? Email contact@motorvehiclesai.com.
Section 01
Summary
We want every paying customer to feel they got real value. This policy describes when we issue refunds for the two paid offerings on Motor Vehicles AI: monthly subscriptions and one-time listing boosts.
The short version
- First-time subscribers: 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of your first charge.
- Renewals: monthly subscription renewals are non-refundable. Cancel anytime to stop the next renewal — you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for.
- Listing boosts: non-refundable once the boost goes live, except as required by law or when our system fails to deliver the boost.

Plans this policy covers
The Service currently offers:
- Free — $0, no card required. Nothing to refund.
- Seller Pro — $29.99/month, recurring.
- Dealer — $199/month, recurring.
- Listing boosts — one-time charges for Basic ($4.99 / 7 days), Premium ($9.99 / 7 days), or Spotlight ($19.99 / 7 days).
Prices, plans, and boost benefits may change as described in the Terms of Service.
Section 03
30-day refund for first-time subscribers
If you are a first-time subscriber to a paid plan (Seller Pro or Dealer), you may request a full refund of your first month's subscription charge within 30 days of that charge, for any reason or no reason at all. We will refund the full amount to your original payment method through Stripe.
The 30-day money-back guarantee does not apply to:
- Accounts that have previously subscribed to any Motor Vehicles AI paid plan (you are not a “first-time” subscriber).
- Accounts that have been suspended or terminated for violating the Terms of Service.
- One-time listing boosts (see section 5).
Section 04
Monthly renewals are non-refundable
Subscription renewal charges after your first 30-day window are non-refundable. We do not pro-rate or refund partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, you keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for.
You can cancel at any time from Dashboard → Settings → Subscription → Manage billing. Cancellation stops the next renewal. We'll email a payment confirmation each time a renewal succeeds, so you always know when's next.
Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, your subscription will be marked past-due. Stripe will retry per its standard schedule. If we cannot collect after the retry window, your subscription will be downgraded to Free and you will not be charged again. No refund is owed in this case.
Section 05
Listing boosts
Listing boosts are one-time charges for paid placement that begin when the boost is activated and run for a fixed period (currently 7 days). Boost fees are non-refundable once the boost has gone live, with the following exceptions:
- Failure to deliver. If, due to a technical issue on our side, your boost never activates or runs for fewer than 24 hours of the 7-day window, we will refund the full boost fee or, at your option, run a replacement boost of equal value once the issue is resolved.
- Listing removed by us. If we remove your underlying listing during the active boost window for a violation of the Terms of Service, no refund is owed. If we remove it in error and reinstate it, we will extend the boost by the duration it was paused.
- Listing removed by you. If you delete or deactivate the underlying listing during the boost window, the boost ends with it. No refund is owed.
Stacking, gifting, or transferring boosts to another listing or account is not supported.
Section 06
Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us first if you believe a charge is unjustified — most issues can be resolved within 24 hours by email. Initiating a chargeback or dispute through your bank or card network instead of contacting us may result in your account being suspended until the dispute is resolved. We reserve the right to provide evidence of authorized usage (login records, IP and device data, transaction history) to your bank, the card network, and Stripe.
Section 07
How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method used for the charge. Stripe typically posts refunds within 5–10 business days, though the exact timing depends on your bank and card issuer.
We will send you an email confirmation when a refund is issued. The refund will appear as a credit on the original payment method, not as a deposit in a separate account.

How to request a refund
Email contact@motorvehiclesai.com from the email address on your account with:
- The subject line: “Refund request”
- The plan or boost you're asking about
- The approximate date of the charge
- A brief reason (optional for first-time 30-day refunds)
A real human will reply within two business days with a decision and next steps.
Section 09
Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your charge governs that charge. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email and reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
